De Klompendansers on the Festival of Nations The Dutch style dance group De Klompendansers is certainly worth your attention. They dance all through the year and all through the country. Once a year they appear on the Festival of Nations here in our own St. Paul.

Who Belongs to NAAM?

NAAM has more than 220 member households. Membership spans multiple generations in some families. NAAM is a mixture of people who are from Dutch descent, who formerly lived in the Netherlands or people who have an interest in Dutch culture and activities. While most members live within the extended Twin Cities area, we also have members in greater Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Dutch Fact

The Dutch national anthem is called "Het Wilhelmus." It was written between 1568 and 1572, and it is one of the oldest national anthems in the world. It is an ode to William I, Prince of Orange, who led the fight for Dutch freedom from Spanish rule.
